About the Year of the Snake

The snake is the sixth of the twelve animals which appear in the Shēngxiào, more popularly known as the Chinese zodiac. The Chinese zodiac assigns an animal to represent a specific year and persons who are born in a certain year are said to have certain personality traits. It is also said that future events can be predicted for a person based on their Chinese zodiac sign. The snake is said to be one of the most mysterious and alluring signs. Similar to the way a snake charms its prey, people born in the year of the snake are charming and can easily persuade others. They make friends easily and always seem to get their way.

Persons born in the following years are said to be born in the year of the snake:

1905, 1917, 1929, 1941, 1953, 1965, 1977, 1989, 2001, 2013.

Wood snakes are impulsive, outspoken and intelligent.Metal snakes are strong in character and dedicated to their goals. Earth snakes are independent and free-spirited.

    Why some say the lucky numbers for snake are 2 8 and 9 and to avoid 1 6 and 7 and here you say lucky numbers for snake are 2 4 7 an 9 ? Who to believe?
